Opal Allen has been interested in storytelling and writing every since she was a child burying herself in books at libraries. She began to write and recite poetry at the age of 9. Her poetry and speeches turned into skits. Her skits turned into plays. At the age of 16, Opal presented her first play and founded her production company, L’apo Productions, LLC. From there, Opal’s plays turned into movies and short films. Opal’s dream is to continue her art and open a production studio in her home town that will not only benefit her creative endeavors, but those of others with the same mission and dream.
