At the age of sixteen, Opal Allen founded L'apo Productions, LLC. Opal Allen is a mother, writer and storyteller dedicated to creating meaningful, emotionally honest work. Her stories explore identity, love, family, and the quiet turning points that shape who we become. Opal has been writing and performing since the age of nine. Opal has always been very active in her community and with the youth. Through books, poetry, and film, Opal builds narratives that reflect real-life complexity while offering hope, growth, and reflection. She is the founder of L’apo Productions, where she develops original stories designed to connect deeply and stay with readers long after the experience ends.
